About Ultimate Shutter

Ultimate Shutter is a Melbourne based company that specialises in manufacturing and installation of Window Roller Shutters. Established in 1987, we have been in business and in the roller shutter industry for over 20 years, and we are proud to say that we are Melbourne’s Number 1 shutter specialist.

Starting from a small factory in Dandenong, Ultimate Shutter has now shifted production and sales into Burwood and holding advanced machinery to assist in easing production processes.

Although our main focus is on Window Roller Shutters, we have expanded our horizons and increased our product range. Ultimate Shutter now manufactures its own various types of Roller Shutter Cabinets after inputting years of development into the project. As well as this, we have always supplied customers with Window Grilles and Security Doors. Ultimate Shutter also creates customized security solutions for unique circumstances for its customers if existing products are not practical.

Currently located in Burwood are our manufacturing warehouse and our showroom, which have display modules available of various products sold by the company.

Moving into the next generation, we have seen that we have needed to contribute to our environment via two main areas. The Greenhouse effect is the first, in which we have systems in place to play our part; our window roller shutters helping to reduce carbon emissions.The second is water consumption; using our storage sheds, you can save water with the optional water storage attachment. Ultimate Shutter has now become more energy wise and energy conscious, finding the need to utilise its products to save energy.

Ultimate Shutter is closely associated with builders and is hence a member of the Master Builder Association (MBA) and the Housing Industry Association (HIA). This can help reassure the customer that they are dealing with a reputable and quality company (Ultimate Shutter) as these organisations only allow reputable companies to become members.

Ultimate Shutter has an Australian Institute of Petroleum (A.I.P.) License, a Security Master License & has Red Card Training. This allows Ultimate Shutter to install products in all dangerous & hazardous areas such as around petroleum as well as in commercial areas. This also means that you will be dealing with a company that has no criminal records.

Having been in business for over 20 years, we have had the pleasure of dealing with companies such as BP, Cash Converters, McDonalds, Yarra Trams, La Porchetta and Autobarn. Having dealt with these companies, it gives our customers and potential customers the peace of mind that, Ultimate Shutter is a reputable company with quality products.

Ultimate Shutter has serviced 9800 residential customers and over 900 Businesses in its 20 plus years in business. In total, this works out to having installed over 88,000 roller shutters over this period. These roller shutters and many other products have been installed all over Victoria as well as being supplied interstate and internationally.
