Compliance and Certification
Using the Heroal RS37RC3 shutter slat, this shutter has been tested in accordance with AS 1530.8.2-2018
Installation Requirements
- The shutter must be installed at least 25mm away from the window system
- The window system must be at minimum a 5mm toughened glass window with an aluminium frame
- Louvred windows and similarly poorly sealed windows will not be accepted
- The shutter pelmet must be above the window system
- A manual override motor must be used (or a battery backups UPS in lieu of a manual override motor if accepted by a certifier as being sufficient alternative to cater for allowing operation of the shutter in power outage)
